Yea, I think there's something to be said for how we give and receive information. I saw someone on Facebook post about how frustrated and flabbergasted he was when he told someone they were wrong about Easter's Pagan origins and the person in question said she didn't care as this is what she believes. There's room on both ends for improvement, I'd say.

I agree with your penultimate paragraph. Knowing the history is great but obviously go with what works for you!
